We'll post our newsletters here so you can reference them on the go, or just in case one gets lost in a bottomless backpack.
We have a lot to talk about, so be sure to check our News page often. Here we will share details about upcoming events, provide important reminders, and tell you all about the things and people that make us great.
Christmas recess begins with a 12:40 p.m. early dismissal on Friday, December 22 and runs through Monday, January 1. School resumes on Tuesday, January 2. We wish you and your families a very happy holiday season!
Please remember to provide boots, gloves, and a warm coat for your children. The weather is getting colder, and students have recess after lunch. Thank you!
Proper Uniform Attire
Some students are not wearing the proper uniform attire. No leggings of any kind are acceptable. Students are allowed to wear the St. James sweatshirts in class as decided last year. No other sweatshirts are acceptable. Some students are wearing multi-colored socks, which is not the proper attire. Students are not allowed to wear sneakers except on gym days. There are students who change their dress shoes before they go out for recess, which is fine. Please follow the uniform policy.
Please join us for our awards ceremony on Wednesday, December 20 at 9:00 a.m. in the school gym. We look forward to seeing you there.
Teacher of the Year
The teacher of the year banquet was on Thursday, November 9 at the Imperial Room. It was an honor to recognize Stephanie Razska-Arsenault as our teacher of the year. As Nelson Mandela once wrote, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." We thank you and congratulate you for being an outstanding educator!
The school tiles are now on display in the cafeteria. Mr. Schaefer placed the 130 tiles on the cafeteria wall on November 12. If you haven’t decorated a tile yet, there is still time to purchase one. There are so many great designs, Biblical phrases, and decorations that look fantastic. The tiles will certainly be a topic for conversation.
