Parent-Teacher Conferences

There is no school on Friday, October 27 due to parent-teacher conferences. Please schedule a conference with your child’s teacher.


Book Fair

Come expand your home library at the book fair! Our Scholastic book fair begins on October 23, 2017, and runs through October 27, 2017. The shopping hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The book fair will be open during conferences on Friday, October 27.


Alumni Database

St. James Parochial School is in the process of gathering information about alumni who graduated from St. James School. Please complete the form below. Thank you for your cooperation.


Student Council Activities

Our student council has activities scheduled for the week of October 16-20. Activities include:

  • Pumpkin decorating
  • School-wide Bingo game
  • Pencil-ribbon grams
  • Homemade pink bookmarks
  • Pink dress down day

If you have any questions, please contact the main office of Morgan Beaudreault, president of our student council.


Early Dismissal

Due to the Thanksgiving Food Distribution, there will be an early dismissal day on November 21. We will still have extended day in the p.m.


Picture Retakes

If your child is in need of picture retakes, mark your calendar for November 3. Students will have their pictures taken beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the gym.


Hurricane Relief

We are so proud of our school community coming together and collecting $1,240.00 for hurricane relief. We have been devastated for those recently impacted by these disastrous weather forces. We are hoping that our contribution will help those in need! Thank you to all who donated.


Friendly Reminder

Please remember to read and sign the handbook form, Internet usage form, picture opt-out, and the field trip forms as soon as possible.

Sport Stacking Club

In September, a sport stacking club will be making its initial debut here at St. James. We will meet after school every Monday until 3:30 p.m. Our club will finish with a competition of the 10th Connecticut State Sport Stacking Championships on October 28, 2017.

Altar Servers Class

Our altar servers class meets on the fourth Saturday of every month at 3:30 p.m. Please call ahead to schedule. We will train you, and you will serve your first mass at 4:00 p.m. with Mr. Stepalavich. For information, or to sign up, please call Mrs. Stepalavich at (860) 630-0680.
